This weekend you'll find the painting above and more at Parts Gallery's booth #1114 at Art Toronto! another artist's work they'll have on view is Fiona Ackerman, (below). i've been having a lot of art krushes lately including Mira Schor and Deborah Kass and i'm gonna have to add Fiona to the list! btw: my latest art krushes w/Mira and Deborah stem from the very informal (which is why i liked them sooo very much) talks both ladies had at the Jewish Museum, in conjunction with the exhibition Shifting The Gaze.

and in other news i've finally been accepted into the AIM Program at The Bronx Museum of Art! the program will begin in april and lasts 13 weeks. from their website:
Artist in the Marketplace (AIM) marks The Bronx Museum of the Arts' ongoing commitment to provide professional development opportunities to emerging artists in the greater New York metropolitan area. AIM comprises a thirteen-week seminar program offered annually in the fall and the spring. Classes meet at The Bronx Museum of the Arts, and other off-site locations, on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. Enrollment is limited to 18 artists per session. The program culminates with an annual group exhibition and accompanying publication.
